Week 7: Random Association

On this week, we were asked to draw a sign or something that create the element of scary or dangerous or beware. Create that element base on a kitten/cat.

So here's my ideas;

The one that is circled was picked by Sir himself. :)

Week 6: Juxtaposition (Part 2)

Juxtaposition in Poetry
Gotta admit, it's been awhile since i wrote my last poem. The last time I wrote a poem was when I was in my English Literature class. That was when I was in form 5 of my high school years and I wasn't really good at it anyway~ :)

Chili - LOVE

Love can be so hot,
and yet only for awhile;
Like a bite of a chili,
The hotness only last for a few seconds.

Fast Car - LIFE

Drive it fast,
Drive it slow;
Anyway you want it,
You control the excitement of your life.

Ice Cream - PAIN

Life is like an ice cream,
Yes it's sweet;
But wait when it melts,
Every drop is like tears of pain.

Credit Cards - LOVE / LIFE

Money can buy love,
Money can buy life;
But in the end,
Will you pay all the bills?

Time - HAPPINESS

The time goes round,
Repeating everyday;
So does happiness,
That'll come day by day.

Duckling & Kitten - LOVE / PAIN

A duckling and a kitten,
Both feel the pain to understand each other;
But the truth is,
Love that brought them together.

Man / Women - TRASH

She is just a litter on a breeze,
Floating to wherever the wind takes her;
Finding the right place that suites her,
A place where trashes are belong.

When Animals Are Merged

I remember a movie titled; "Napoleon Dynamite" where there's a scene where Napoleon drew a merged animal and name it a Liger. It's a tiger and a lion combined.

Sir gave us a similar task. The task is to draw an animal that is a combination of 3 different animals. I've chosen:
A Cat

A Great White Shark

A Giant Octopus / Kraken

So here is the result looks like:

Face of a cat, Mouth / Teeth of a shark and body of n octopus
(I'm not much of a drawer~)

Week 5: Juxtaposition (Part 1)

Just-a-what?!!
Juxtaposition:
1) An act or instance of placing close together or side by side, esp. for comparison or contrast.

2) The state of being close together or side by side.

Jux-Table
0 = flower 9 = head
1 = lightning 8 = rain
2 = ice 7 = wood
3 = light 6 = tree
4 = fire 5 = spider
5 = duck 4 = root
6 = dog 3 = mountain
7 = oil 2 = wind
8 = leave 1 = rock
9 = fly 0 = water

Choose 1 number from the blue column and 1 number from the red column

Task 1:
Make a sentence based the numbers you've chosen.

I picked, "01", "39", "95".
+ There's a flower on that rock.
+ A light bulb appears on top of your head when you have an idea.
+ The fly and the spider are friends.

Task 2:
Combine each of the two words together.
+ FlowerRock
+ LightHead
+ FlySpider

Task 3 :
Draw images base on the combined words.
